To confirm whether a page is being optimized by Rebelboost in Chrome, follow the steps below:
Step-by-step
- Open DevTools.
- Go to the Network tab.
- Refresh the page.
- Locate and click on the Doc entry that contains the page’s HTML.
- In the details panel, check for the Response Header x-rebelmouse-origin-timing and verify that its value is 0.
How to interpret the results
- If the x-rebelmouse-origin-timing header is present, it means the page is being processed by Rebelboost.
However, this does not guarantee that the current version is already optimized. This may be the first render, and optimization may still be happening in the background. - When the header value is 0, it indicates that the page has already been optimized and is being served from cache, with zero response time for that version.
